USB drives for train tickets in French

Written by wowo on August 31st, 2008 in Variety Info.

train usb tickets

SNCF as French public transportation company, in order to help it test an RFID-enabled smart card that’s also a USB drive, they are getting 1,000 customers. This USB drive is known as the Weneo ID Smart. SNCF push this to expand its contactless payment system, and would allow customers to plug their train passes into a PC at home. They could add money to their account, avoiding the rush at the station to dump money onto a card as the train is pulling away, which something we’re very familiar with in New York City). The fare would be deducted from the card either by an RFID reader on the train, or can be deducted by an attendant with a handheld tool.

By 2010, SNCF may try to have all their customers using the system, depending on the program’s success. The closest thing we have to it here in the States are bank promotions that allow you to marry your metro card with your bank account. Therefore, Europe isn’t as train-retarded as the US, where cross-country trains are barely used, save for some commercial interests.

recipe gulf shrimp texas While I’m searching some website on the internet, then I just discovered a seafood contest about the Favorite Great American Seafood Recipe. The contest held by greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com, and I have been picked my choice recipe called Texas Gulf Shrimp. This dish created by Chef Mark Holley from Texas. The most things that I like from this recipe are the recipe is simple and using a lot of healthy stuff.

In my opinion, the recipe is just perfect. So, if I should make it by myself, then I would not alter anything. You know, my brother and I love to eating seafood. Even not everyday we take it for our menus, but we both very enthusiast while seafood become main menu in our lunch or dinner. The recipe also looks very simple to follow, even if we are not master of chef. What we need is just have the right ingredients and see the result, may I be like Mark Holley. To find the ingredients are not hard too. They are all available and provided locally.

You know, to find out the shrimp whether it is fresh or not is from the taste. If the shrimp have taste a juicy and bit sweet, then this shrimp is up to a great taste. I hope that the recipe for Texas Gulf Shrimp will be a winner n this contest. If you want to cast your vote to this great American seafood cook off and have a chance to win a New Orleans trip, then you must visit the official website at www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com.

bathup TV

Maybe sound very safe on paper. You know, my mother would warn me about the mixing dangers of water and electricity, when I was a kid, so it would have a problem with a bathtub where you lie in water while watching an LCD TV seems like something Mom siad. But, this isn’t the first tub with a built in TV come across, but at a puny 8 inch screen to a 17 inch model, it does let you step up from peering, plenty big enough considering you can reach it with your toes. You also get an FM radio adding to the luxury touches, waterproof remote control, a host of air, hydro, and back massage whirlpool jets. I just hope it’s all really waterproof. In the UK, the Di Vapor Cosmo is available now for about $4600!

The secret weapon of Obama

Written by wowo on August 23rd, 2008 in Variety Info.

obama's secret weapon

From a carefully choreographed political conventions to carefully choreographed sports convention, start examining the political polls and stop examining the medal count. As red and blue staters do, McCainiacs are revving their NASCAR engines and Obamaniacs are having bleeding heart palpitations. Recent polls have the two egomaniacs in a statistical dead heat.

But to paraphrase Marisa Tomei, defense witness suddenly realizing the import of the photographed tire marks in My Cousin Vinny, the polls are wrong. Why? Pollsters don’t poll people with cellphones. Read on to find out what this means. This is not a political rant favoring any one candidate (Obama). It doesn’t matter who I support (Obama). This is a completely objective report (Obama), and my personal political preference (Obama) has no bearing on this report (Obama). Read full articles here…
